It just got a little more torturous to be a bored receptionist dreaming of traveling to faraway places. California-based MotoArt, founded by artist Donovan Fell III, takes decommissioned airplanes and turns their parts into beautiful, functional, unique furniture pieces. The receptionist's desk up above was once a cowling from a 747.
Below are a couple of videos describing what MotoArt does. You can also check out their insanely deep product line--everything from beds and lamps to conference tables and office partitions--at their website.
